We recommend reading our Diamond Media Guidelines before uploading diamond media and uploading your diamond images to RapNet's Media Library.

  • RapNet automatically connects image files in your Media Library to your diamonds if the image file name matches your stock or certificate number.

    • Example: Diamond Stock number: 123

    • Image file name: 123.jpg.

  • If your image file name does not match either the cert or stock number, you will need to either:

    • Type in the image file name in your upload inventory file's Diamond Image column and upload the images manually in the media library - see guidance below.

    • Manually connect images from your Media Library to uploaded diamonds.

Upload when image filenames match stock or cert number

  1. Go to RapNet's Media Library > Upload New Media.

  2. Drag & Drop or Browse either single images or zip folder with images.

  3. Prepare your diamond inventory file and upload to RapNet.

    • Images will automatically connect to diamonds.

Upload when images filenames do not match stock or cert number

  1. Go to RapNet's Media Library > Upload New Media

  2. Drag & Drop or Browse either single images or zip folder with images

  3. Prepare your diamond inventory file for upload > Go to field name Diamond Image field and type image filenames [see guidance below]

  4. Upload inventory file to RapNet.

    • Images will connect to diamonds because the filename is listed in the diamond inventory file.

Format diamond image filenames

  • Use the Diamond Image field in the upload file to paste the file name.

  • Include the media suffix. (jpg or png).


Format multiple diamond image filenames

Go to field name Diamond Image and type image filenames

  • Use semi colons to separate multiple images. Example: 123_1.jpg, 123_2.jpg, 123_3.jpg etc.

  • Use semi colons to separate image filenames.

  • Include the media suffix. (jpg or png).

Format diamond videos in your diamond inventory file

  1. Type in the video URL into the Video Link column in your diamond inventory file.

  2. Upload



Note:

The diamond upload file does not support uploading an image link and a video link.

We recommend uploading image links directly to the Media Library and leaving only the video link in the diamond inventory file.
