Why Upload Diamonds to RapNet?

Uploading diamonds to RapNet connects you to a vast global network of buyers and sellers. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date listings enhances your credibility and makes it easier for buyers to find your diamonds.

Overview of the Uploading Process

The diamond upload process involves four key components outlined below, with detailed links for further guidance.

Diamond Listings Policy on RapNet

To maintain trust and uphold marketplace standards, all members are required to follow our Trading Rules and Code of Conduct.

RapNet members must communicate the quality of diamonds honestly and fairly, including providing accurate information about their location.

They must fully disclose any details about the products they sell that could impact their resale value. This includes, but is not limited to, whether the products are treated, synthetic, enhanced, or simulated.

Misrepresentation is strictly prohibited, and full written disclosure is mandatory.

The following key policies outline the standards all members are expected to uphold.

  • For security reasons, do not share your RapNet login credentials with your programmer.

Which diamond uploading method is right for me?

It's hard to track your inventory doing single uploads so we recommend uploading from an Excel or CSV file.

  • Single diamond uploads are meant for people with 20-30 diamonds or less.

  • With Excel or CSV, you can choose to update or replace all, depending on if you want to only add changes or resync your entire RapNet stock with your Excel file.

  • API: Advised for members with a large active inventory. The inventory source can either be a stock program or an XL file.

Diamond Pricing Guidance

  1. White diamonds (D-Z color) under 4ct must be uploaded with $/ct or discount. Fancy colors can be uploaded without a price.

  2. There are 4 columns for diamond pricing: RapNet Price, RapNet Discount Percent, Cash Price, and Cash Price Discount Percent.

    • Please refer to this article to learn more about these 4 columns and how they affect your pricing.

  3. If both discount % and $/ct are filled in and uploaded, RapNet only considers the $/ct so carefully check the pricing in your diamond inventory upload file

  1. There’s no need to fill out the Rapaport price. RapNet calculates that when uploading the diamond.

  2. 10-carat+ diamonds: If you use the 5-carat price list to price your 10-carat+ diamonds, you will need to upload the diamond data with $/ct pricing, not the discount %.

Diamond Listing Maintenance Rules

To keep your diamonds visible and relevant, adhere to these important rules:

  • Refresh Listings Weekly: Ensure your inventory is updated to remain active on the platform.
