Jewelry Media Standards

Images must meet our required standards. Those not meeting these standards are rejected from the upload.

Jewelry Media Guidelines

Uploading high-quality media improves item visibility and buyer interest.

Image Requirements

  • Format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, or ZIP

  • Size: Minimum 1280 x 1280 pixels, Recommended: 1600 x 1600 pixels

  • Filenames: Use only Roman/Latin characters

  • Max Upload: 5 images per item

ZIP Uploads

  • Max file size: 500 MB

  • Images within ZIP must still meet file type and size requirements

Accepted Jewelry Videos

Only YouTube and Vimeo links are supported.

  • MP4 and other video files are not accepted

  • Add your video link directly to the Video URL field in your inventory upload or when editing a jewelry item

Uploading Jewelry Images to the Media Library

You can upload a maximum of 5 images per jewelry item.

To upload:

  1. Go to RapNet's Media Library > Click Upload New Media.

  2. Drag & drop or browse to upload:

    • Individual image files

    • A ZIP folder (max 500 MB)

Accepted image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, ZIP
Image size: Minimum 1280 x 1280 pixels (recommended: 1600 x 1600)

  • Images smaller than 1280x1280 will be rejected.

  • Larger images will be resized to 1280x1280.

Filenames:

  • Use Latin/Roman alphabet characters only.

  • Avoid special characters or non-English letters.

Auto-Connecting Images to Jewelry

Images automatically connect to jewelry if the image file name matches the jewelry’s stock number.

  • Example: Stock number: BR1000

  • Matching file names:

    • BR1000.jpg (auto-connects one image)

    • BR1000-1.jpg, BR1000-2.jpg, or BR1000_1.jpg, BR1000_2.jpg (auto-connects multiple images to the same item)

If image filenames do NOT match stock numbers, do one of the following:

  • In your inventory CSV file, use the Image File Name column to manually assign images.

  • List image filenames with the appropriate extension (.jpg, .png), separated by commas.
