Once you've completed your Instant Inventory settings, the next step is to create at least one jewelry rule. This rule defines:

  • Which jewelry items to include in your feed

  • Which suppliers do you want to feature

  • The retail pricing (profit margins and admin fees) for your website

Rules can be edited or updated at any time. Any changes will automatically reflect on your site within minutes—no need to update the script on your website.

If a jewelry item appears in more than one rule or is offered by multiple suppliers, only the lowest-priced version will appear in your feed.

1. Choose Jewelry Parameters

Set filters like jewelry type, metal, style, price range, certification, and more to define the type of inventory you want to include.

Note: The more specific your parameters, the more tailored your website feed will be.

2. Choose Suppliers

You decide which suppliers' jewelry will appear in your feed.

  • Use the All Suppliers list to view everyone offering Instant Inventory items

  • Use Selected Suppliers to include only those you want

  • Click Request to ask for listing permission from a new supplier

  • Click Add All to include all suppliers with approved listing permissions

  • Use the ➕ and 🗑 buttons to manage your supplier selections

The more suppliers you approve, the more jewelry items will populate your feed.

3. Set Retail Price Markups

Set how you want to price the items displayed on your website:

  • Add a % markup (your profit)

  • Add a $ markup (admin or shipping fees)

  • Create multiple markup levels based on price ranges

  • Click Save & Finish when done

4. Name & Save Your Rule

Give your rule a clear name and description to easily identify your parameter and pricing combinations.

When you’re ready, choose how to proceed:

  • Add New Rule: Create additional rules for different suppliers or markups

  • 📊 Go to Dashboard: Manage your feed, rules, suppliers, and settings

  • 🚀 Activate Feed: Publish your Instant Inventory feed to your website

Upload Your Own Jewelry (Own Stock)

You can upload your own jewelry inventory to Instant Inventory without showing those items on RapNet. These items will only appear on your retail website via Instant Inventory.

Option 1: Upload a Single Jewelry Item

  • Fill in item details and upload at least one image

  • Scroll down and tick Upload item as 'own stock'

  • Click Save

Already uploaded the item?

  • Go to Manage My Jewelry, find the item

  • Click Edit, scroll down, and mark as own stock

  • Save changes

Option 2: Upload Multiple Jewelry Items

  • Prepare your file using our jewelry CSV format

  • Go to Instant Inventory > Jewelry Feed > View and Edit

  • Click Own Stock > Upload Own Stock

  • Browse and upload your CSV file

  • Tick Upload items as 'own stock'

  • Click Create Listings

Note: Only items with valid images and no duplicates will appear in your feed. If the same item is already listed by another supplier, only the lowest-priced version will display.
