Once a trade begins in the Trade Center, the item price is locked in based on the price listed on RapNet at the time the offer was made. This means any price changes you make on RapNet after the trade starts will not update automatically in the trade.

How to Update the Price Within a Trade

If you want to offer a new price for an ongoing trade:

  1. Open the trade and click “See Negotiation Terms.”

  2. Enter your new price or counteroffer.

  3. The new price will reflect in the Sale Conditions section.

  4. You'll also see the date of the last price update next to the item.

This allows you to manage pricing individually for each trade, without affecting your public listings.

  • Rap% calculations are according to the current Rapaport price list, regardless of when the price was set or the offer made. If the Rapaport price list changes during your negotiation, we will keep your $/ct offer and change the Rapaport price accordingly. You can always update your offer.

  • Changing the price on your RapNet listing doesn’t change the price inside a Trade Center negotiation. To update pricing for a trade, always use the Negotiation Terms within that specific offer.
