Add the RapNet Instant Inventory feed (diamonds or jewelry) to your website using either our customizable widget (for both diamonds and jewelry) or an API integration (diamonds only).

Before You Start, make sure you’ve:

  • Set up your Instant Inventory feed

  • Created at least one rule with suppliers, parameters, and price markups

  • Customize the widget (optional)

  • Activated your feed

Option 1: Embed the Instant Inventory Widget

This is the simplest and most popular option. No advanced coding required.

To publish the widget on your site:

  1. Go to your Instant Inventory dashboard

    • Diamonds: Menu > Instant Inventory > Diamond Feed

    • Jewelry: Menu > Instant Inventory > Jewelry Feed

  2. Click “View and Edit” on your feed

  3. Click “Actions” > “Publish to My Website”

  4. Copy the script code

  5. Paste it into your website’s HTML where you want the feed to appear, or send it to your web developer.

Important:

  • Any changes you make to your widget design, rules, or inventory are automatically reflected on your website — there’s no need to reinstall or update the script.

  • The API key embedded in the script is unique to your RapNet account and website. To ensure your Instant Inventory works correctly, always use the API key provided for your specific account. Using the wrong key will prevent your feed from displaying.

Option 2: Use the Instant Inventory API (Diamonds Only)

For more control over the design and functionality of your diamond feed, your developer can integrate our API.

  1. Go to your Instant Inventory Diamond dashboard

  2. Click “View and Edit” on your feed

  3. Click “Actions” > “Publish to My Website”

  4. Copy the link and send to your developer

Note: There is no API integration available for jewelry at this time.

Working with Tech Teams or Programmers

To integrate Instant Inventory into your website, your developer or programmer will need access to our secure APIs. This requires specific security credentials to authenticate and access the data.

Important Security Note

For security reasons, do not share your RapNet login credentials with your developer. Your RapNet credentials are private and should not be shared.

API Credentials

To integrate the Instant Inventory or Price List feed, your developer will need the Client ID and Client Secret.

How to Set Up API Access

  1. Go to the API Credentials section in your RapNet account and click Activate to generate your API credentials.

  2. Share the Client ID and Client Secret with your developer.

  3. The developer will use these credentials to generate a Login Token, enabling them to securely connect to the API and access the data.
