Markup Prices Before Sharing with Customers

You can mark up RapNet-listed prices when:

  • Viewing results using an Access Code

  • Printing or emailing a list of diamonds

  • Sharing via the Share Diamonds feature

Access Code in 2 Ways

With Access Code, your diamond results hide the seller's name as well as mark up the price. The code you choose (see below), displays at the top of your results

  1. Method 1: Find the Access Code field in the search engine > Type a 3–6 digit code. Example: 120 adds a 20% markup. 120789 does the same — only the first 3 digits apply.

  2. Method 2: Create Advanced Markup Rules: Set up to 5 markup rules in Settings > Price Markup. To apply, activate one of your rules and make a regular diamond search

Mark Up Prices & Share with Customers

On the Diamond Search Results page:
Select diamonds > 3-dot menu > choose Export/Print Selected

  1. Choose which columns you want your customer to see

  2. Enter your markup percentage

  3. Then: Print, Save, Email, or Export to Excel

Use this to present diamonds with your pricing and hide supplier details.

Use our Share Diamonds Feature to mark up and share diamonds or jewelry via social media.

Export Search Results to Excel or CSV

  1. Select diamonds > 3-dot menu > Export.

  2. Choose your layout/columns > Download from Reports Center when ready.

Note 1: Seller name and certificate ID are not included in exports.

Note 2: If your CSV diamond file exports in a strange format, please read this article for guidance on how to fix

Troubleshooting: Misformatted CSV Export

If your diamond export file appears misformatted, it may be due to the decimal separator being set incorrectly (a comma instead of a period/full stop). Here's how to fix it:

  1. In Excel:

    • Open a blank Excel sheet.

    • Go to File > Options > Advanced > Editing Options.

    • Check the box for Use System Separators.

    • Set the Decimal separator to . and the Thousands separator to ,.

    • Click OK.

  2. On Your Computer:

    • Open Control Panel > Region > Formats > Additional Settings.

    • Set List Separator to , (comma).

    • Click OK.

This should resolve the issue and allow your CSV file to format correctly.

Compare Diamonds

Use the Compare tool to view selected diamonds side by side in a table, making it easy to spot differences in specs like cut, color, price, and more.

Note: You must select at least 2 diamonds and can compare up to 10 at a time.

Add a Diamond to the Compare Table

  • Expand the diamond row

  • Click the 3-dot menu> Compare

Add Multiple Diamonds

  • Select diamonds using the checkboxes

  • Click 3-dot menu > Add to Compare

Once added, go to the 3-dot menu > Compare (X/10) to open your comparison table in a new browser tab. The number (e.g., Compare 4/10) reflects how many diamonds you've selected.

Inside the Comparison Table

  • View each diamond’s key specifications side by side

  • Pin diamonds to keep them in view

  • Delete any from the list

  • Contact the seller directly from the table

This tool helps you and your customer easily assess which diamonds best meet your needs — or theirs.
