How to add a buy request on the app, manage and renew buy requests. Also contact sellers & reject suggested diamonds

Post your buy request, then get on with your work as RapNet works in the background sending you diamonds matching your request.

Once you have responses to your buy requests, you can view the diamond item page, contact the diamond seller, add the diamond/s to a list or reject the suggestion/s.

Post a Buy Request

  1. Select New Buy Request: +

  2. Choose your Buy Request type: You can post 3 types of Buy Requests:

    1. Public Buy Request: all RapNet members can view the request and the company posting the request, and respond to the post.

    2. Private Buy Request: only the buy request owner can see the request and receive RapNet notifications when diamonds become available on RapNet.

    3. Anonymous Buy Request: The location and details of the buy request are public but the buy request owner's company details are hidden

  3. Notification: You must select one of these notification options: None/Immediately/Daily

  4. Buy Request Expiration: Default is a maximum of 2 weeks from today, you can edit and set an earlier date

  5. Fill out the diamond specs for the diamond you are looking to buy. Mandatory fields include Shape, color, clarity, location

  6. Click + Add Buy Request

Note: RapNet's Buy Request auto-notification system does not work if your request is too broad.

If there are too few parameters and the buy request will return more than 50 results, you can either edit the buy request or continue without auto-matching.

Manage responses to your buy request

Once you have responses to your buy requests, you can view the diamond item page, contact the diamond seller, add the diamond/s to a list or reject the suggestion/s.

  1. Filter > search for buy requests with seller responses

  2. Your buy requests with seller responses only > Tap to view

  3. Viewing Options: Buy Request details - Responses per seller - Diamonds matching your buy request

  4. Responses Tab: responses from different sellers and dedicated Chat
    ​

  5. Matches Tab: List of diamonds matching your buy request, with indication where response originated.

    1. R icon > RapNet matched the buy request

    2. Arrow > Seller responded to this buy request

    3. Search icon > you found the diamond yourself

  6. Manage a single diamond response

    1. Click on the 3 dots next to the suggested diamond

    2. Actions: Message Seller/Add diamond to a List/Open Item page/Reject

  7. Manage multiple diamond responses

    1. Select multiple diamond responses

    2. Actions: Message sellers /Add diamonds to a List/Reject

Edit a buy request on the app

Go to Buy Requests > My Requests tab

  1. Find the buy request you want to edit > tap the 3 dots on the request

  2. Edit > Edit Buy Request screen opens

  3. Edit/update changes > Save

Renew a buy request on the app

Go to Buy Requests > My Requests tab

  1. Find the buy request you want to edit > tap the 3 dots on the request

  2. Tap: Renew Buy Request
