What are RapChat Buy/Sell Groups?
RapChat Buy/Sell Groups are moderated chat rooms categorized by trade activity:
Trading Chat Group – General trade discussions and listings
Buy Requests Only Group – Buyers post specific requests
Uncertified Parcel Trade Group – For uncertified goods and parcel trading
Currently available only on the RapNet App.

Tap the group name to view:
Participant list
Media shared in the group
Notification and translation settings
Use the message box to:
Type a message
Share listed items or upload media/files

Posting on a Group
Post a RapNet-listed item
Open the group
Tap the attachment icon
Select your listed item
Add optional caption
Tap Send
Post pictures or documents

Choose to take a picture or upload a Word doc, Excel file, or PDF

Managing Your Posts
Edit a post: Long press your message > Tap Edit > Update > Send
Remove a post: Long-press your message > Tap Remove Message
Reply privately: Long press on another member’s post > Tap Reply Privately
Translation Features
Turn on auto-translation:
Tap the 3-dot menu near the group name
Select Translation Settings
Toggle Translate ON
Choose your preferred language
Translate individual messages:
Long-press the message
Tap Translate
Set Permissions and Notifications
Mute Notifications:
Tap the group name
Toggle Mute Notifications ON or OFF
Manage Permissions:
Only Primary Account holders can manage team access to Buy/Sell groups
Permissions affect access to all types of chats (1-to-1, group, and Buy/Sell)

Group Rules & Etiquette
To ensure a professional and effective trading environment, please follow these rules:
Chats are moderated. Failure to keep to the rules can result in a post being removed/deleted, a member being muted, and possibly being banned from a group.
RapChat Buy/Sell groups are for members wanting to buy and sell diamonds, jewelry, watches, pearls and precious stones.
No buy requests or offering synthetics in RapChat groups are allowed.
No spamming! We will block spammers and delete posts that are spam.
Keep it professional and respectful! We expect our members to behave politely and respectfully towards every member, without harassment, name-calling calling or monopolizing chats.
Trade only! RapChat groups are dedicated to the diamond and jewelry trade only.
Safety first! Do not post payment information or personal details on this group.
Disputes and Admin. RapNet takes no responsibility for your direct trading, however we will try to assist wherever possible. Please contact the Administrator of the RapChat group if you require assistance.
