System Requirements and Eligibility
Eligibility: RapNet XL is only available to users on the RapNet Buyer Pro, Dealer, and Primary Supplier plans.
System Requirements:
Microsoft Excel 2013 or higher
Windows 10 or higher
Apple Mac and Open Office are not supported.
RapNet XL does not work on free or student versions of Excel.
Installation Issues
RapNet XL downloaded but won't install
Run as Administrator: If the add-on fails to install, try running the installer as an Administrator.
Download RapNet XL, but do not run it.
Right-click the downloaded file and select Run as Administrator.
If prompted, ask your internal admin to grant installation permissions.
Restart your computer if the add-on still does not appear.
RapNet XL Not Appearing in the Menu Bar
If RapNet XL has been downloaded and installed but doesn't appear in your Excel menu, follow these steps to restore RapNet XL manually to your Excel menu:
Open Excel.
Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
In the Manage drop-down, select COM Add-ins > Go.
Check the box next to RapNet XL and click OK.
Restart Excel. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, try restarting your computer or contact Tech Support.
Export and Formatting Issues
Diamond Listings Not Formatting Correctly When Exported
If your exported diamond data appears incorrectly (e.g., all data in one cell), follow these steps:
Excel/CSV Format Settings:
Go to File > Options > Advanced.
Ensure that Decimal Separator is set to a period (.) and Thousands Separator is set to a comma (,).
Computer Settings:
Go to Control Panel > Region > Formats > Additional Settings.
Set Decimal Symbol to a period (.) and Digit Grouping Symbol to a comma (,).
Set List Separator to a comma (,).
Mac Users: Change your region to United States or United Kingdom under File > Advanced in Numbers.
Price Worksheet and Calculation Issues
Currency Not Showing as USD in Price Worksheet
To fix the currency display issue in the RapNet XL price worksheet:
Change your Date, Time, and Number Format to English (United States) in your Computer Settings under Time and Language.
This will adjust the currency to USD ($).

Price Worksheet Not Calculating Correctly
If prices are not calculating correctly, ensure the following:
Confirm that you have the latest price list by checking the date on the top right of the RapNet XL toolbar.
Click Update Prices to fetch the most recent Rapaport price list.
If you're using a saved worksheet, click Price Worksheet to refresh the data.
Macro Error During Installation
If you encounter a Macro Error during installation:
Temporarily disable the firewall or antivirus software on your computer, as these can interfere with the installation process by blocking macros.
After installation, re-enable your firewall or antivirus.
RapNet XL Tab Missing from Excel
If the RapNet XL tab is missing in Excel:
Right-click on the top-left corner of Excel and select Options.
Go to Add-ins and click on COM Add-ins > Go.
Check the box next to RapNet XL and click OK.
Restart Excel or your computer
Using the 5ct Price for 10ct Diamonds
If you want to use the 5ct price for 10ct diamonds in the RapNet XL price worksheet:
This option is available when using the RapNet XL calculator.
If using the Fill-in Rap Price, this setting will not apply.
